ABOUT THE FARM
This coffee is sourced from producers across Ethiopia's Bench Maji Zone, where coffee is cultivated between 1,800 and 1,980 meters above sea level. The combination of fertile soils, abundant rainfall, and cool mountain temperatures creates ideal conditions for producing coffees with exceptional elegance, clarity, and complexity.

PROCESSING & FERMENTATION
This lot is produced using a carefully managed Natural process to showcase the vibrant fruit character and floral complexity of the Geisha variety.
Only fully ripe cherries are selectively handpicked before being dried on raised African beds for 20 to 23 days. Throughout the drying process, the cherries are turned regularly to ensure even moisture reduction and consistent development. This meticulous approach enhances sweetness, preserves clarity, and results in a clean, expressive cup with exceptional balance.

ABOUT THE REGION
Located in southwestern Ethiopia, Bench Maji is internationally recognized as one of the world's most important coffee-growing regions and is widely regarded as the birthplace of the Geisha variety. Its unique landscape of native forests, rich biodiversity, and high-altitude terrain provides an exceptional environment for cultivating distinctive coffees celebrated for their refined sweetness, expressive aromatics, and remarkable complexity.
